Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between you (the club owner/coach who creates an account) and D. Platten, trading as Staty, of Unit 170474, PO Box 7169, Poole, BH15 9EL ("Staty", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Staty lets coaches log match statistics for their team and players, view stats by match, season, and all-time, and optionally invite players (or their parents/guardians) to a free login to view their own stats.

3. Accounts and responsibility for data you enter

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for having a proper basis to hold data about the players you add — including any parental consent needed for players who are minors. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account.

4. Subscription and billing

• New clubs get a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until it ends.
• After the trial, the subscription is billed monthly at the price shown at checkout, via Stripe.
• You can cancel any time through the billing portal in your dashboard. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period, then the subscription ends.
• We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• Prices may change for future billing periods; we'll give you reasonable notice beforehand.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Staty for anything unlawful, or to enter data about someone without a proper basis to do so
• Attempt to access another club's data, or another player's login
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to reverse engineer it
• Resell or provide the service to others without our agreement

6. Player accounts

Player logins are free and intended for players (or, for younger children, their parent or guardian) to view their own stats. A player account only ever shows that player's own data and any notes their coach has chosen to share with them — never other players' data, and never a coach's private notes.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Staty available and working well, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll try to give notice of any change that meaningfully affects how you use the service.

8. Liability

Staty is provided as a tool to help you record and organise information you provide — we're not responsible for the accuracy of stats or notes entered, or for decisions made based on them. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim arises. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

9. Ending your account

You can stop using Staty and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
